聖誕大餐

Roast beef recipe adapted from : Jamie’s Ministry of Food (P.192)


 Ingredients:
1.5kg topside of beef
2 medium onions
1 packet of sprout
1 bulb of garlic

oliver oil
salt
ground black pepper

To prepare your beef:
1. Preheat oven 200oC.
2. Pile all the veg, garlic into the roasting tray and drizzle with olive oil.
3. Drizzle the beef with olive oil and season well with salt and ground black pepper, rubbing it all over the beef, place beef on the of the veg.

To cook your beef:
1. Place the beef in the preheated oven, cook for 1 hour
**Medium-rare, take it out 5 to 10 mins earlier.
**For well done, leave it in for another 10-15mins.
2. When the beef is cooked to your liking, take the tray out of the oven and transfer the beef to a board to rest for 15 mins or so.
